Although I gonna miss the farm setting, I must admit things are getting better and better with every following paragraph Good You stick to just one main heroine, instead of changing her or making a group of protagonists - emotions from just one character can be better shown to a reader than scattered feelings of many. And after this chapter a reader would like to experience more of Madeleine's captivity, that's for sure
